Gujarat government has started Kisan Parivahan Yojana 2020-21 for farmers. Under this scheme, govt. will provide subvention of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 75,000 for procuring light load bearing vehicle. Farmers may soon be able to apply online by filling Gujarat Kisan Parivahan Yojana 2020-21 online application / registration form.
The main objective of Mukhyamantri Kisan Parivahan Yojana in Gujarat is to enable farmers to sell their agricultural produce to other places. This scheme will realize the PM Modi’s vision of Doubling Farmers Income by 2022.
The state govt. of Gujarat has announced this Kisan Parivahan Scheme in Gujarat Budget 2020-21 presented on 26 February 2020.
Gujarat Kisan Parivahan Yojana Apply Online Form 2020-21
In order to enable farmers of Gujarat to take their produce to other places to sell, Kisan Parivahan Yojana has been started. The state govt. has announced a provision of Rs. 30 crore in this scheme. In this scheme, each farmer will get subsidy of Rs. 50000 to Rs. 75000 on purchase of light load bearing vehicles. This scheme will work in a similar manner to the Amma Two Wheeler Scheme launched in Tamil Nadu for women.
Just like other vehicle purchase subsidy schemes, the state govt. of Gujarat may invite Kisan Parivahan Yojana Online Application Form. The farmers will have to make Kisan Parivahan Yojana online registration to apply online. This may be done through the state govt’s official website or a new dedicated portal. As soon as the apply online process will start, we will update it here.
The main purpose is to increase the outreach of farmers to sell their agricultural produce. Previously, farmers had to pay huge cost to transport their produce from one place to another. This subsidy scheme on purchase of light load bearing vehicles will enable farmers to reduce their transportation cost.
Gujarat Kisan Parivahan Yojana information
In the recent Union Budget 2020-21, the central govt. has also started a similar Krishi Udan Yojana under its regional connectivity scheme. In Gujarat Budget 2020-21, the state govt. has also started a new Mukhyamantri Pak Sangrah Yojana for farmers.
They can now easily carry their crops to other places to sell them. Thus, the overall income of the farmers would be increased. This is a major initiative to raise the living standards of farmers in Gujarat. Accordingly, the whole economy will grow which would result in raised GDP of India which is mainly dependent on agriculture.
