PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme || sixth instalment of ₹2,000 beneficiaries starting August 1
The Narendra-Modi led government revealed that PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme’s sixth instalment of ₹2,000 will be sent to more than 10 crore beneficiaries starting August 1.
Under this scheme, the government sends ₹6,000 annually in the bank account of the registered farmers.

STEP 1
Open the authorised website of PM Kisan Yojana
STEP 2
Find the “Farmers Corner” option on the Home Page
STEP 3
Click on “Farmers Corner” option and a drop-down menu will appear
STEP 4
Click the “New Farmers Registration” option and a new window will appear
STEP 5
Fill in the form that opens, your Aadhaar details and captcha have to be filled in
STEP 6
Click the “Continue” option
STEP 7
If you are already registered from before, your details will be displayed
But if this is your first registration, the display will say “Record not found with given details”
You will also get an option asking you if you want to register on the PM Kisan portal. Click “Yes”
STEP 8
A new page will open with a form to be filled
This form seeks details of you as an individual and those of your farm such as the address, land records, size etc
- Once you are done, click the “Save” option

How to check the beneficiary status for PM Kisan Yojana
The government has uploaded a new list on the PM Kisan website for 2020. The site allows you to check the names of the farmers who have been approved by the government for the benefits of this scheme. If you applied for the programme and want to check whether you made it to the list to get ₹6,000 this year, here are the steps.
How to check status
The beneficiaries can access the online list in simple steps by visiting the ‘Farmer Corner’ from the menu bar on the PM Kisan website. Click on the link for ‘beneficiary list’ and enter state, district, sub-district, block and village details. Then click on ‘Get Report’ to access the complete list.

- Click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’.
After that, a new window will open for you. In which you will be asked to enter Aadhaar card details along with the Captcha.

The beneficiaries must have an Aadhaar Card and a bank account. New applicants can upload their documents through the ‘Farmers Corner’ in the portal.

About PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana :
PM Kisan is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India.
It has become operational from 1.12.2018.
Under the scheme an income support of 6,000/- per year in three equal installments will be provided to small and marginal farmer families having combined land holding/ownership of upto 2 hectares.
Definition of family for the scheme is husband, wife and minor children.
State Government and UT administration will identify the farmer families which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines.
The fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The first instalment for the period 1.12.2018 to 31.03.2019 is to be provided in the financial year itself.There are various Exclusion Categories for the scheme.
