How to Download and Print ePAN Card Online

To download the PAN card, applicants have to provide Aadhaar and residential address. It is necessary for an Indian citizen to download the Form 49A PAN card. And for foreign entities the 49AA form has to be filled. Applicants who wish to download PAN card can download through NSDL or UTIITSL portal. They can also download PAN card by mobile app with just a simple process and few taps.

1. First of all you have to go to the official site of NSDL portal.

2. Now click on Download e-PAN Card (Download e-Pan Card / e-Pan XML for PAN alloted older or more than 30 days), which will be found on the homepage.

3. Enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, date of birth and GSTN (if applicable).

4. Now read the captcha code carefully and enter it on the box provided.

5. Now click on submit for OTP process.

6. OTP will come on your registered mobile number and email id.

7. Select as per your choice and click on Generate OTP.

8 . Now enter OTP and click to validate.

9. After the verification process is over, click on “Generate PDF”.

10. Downloaded PDF format of e-PAN card is password protected.

11. And password is your date of birth. Please mention your date of birth to use your e-PAN card.

12. A fee of Rs 8.26 is applicable for downloading e-PAN cards.

You can download your PAN card through both web portals. In which you have to enter unique 10 digit alphanumeric number. Which is mandatory for financial transactions according to Income Tax Department.

5. You will now be directed to a new page.

6. Enter your 10 digit alphanumeric PAN number

3. Click on the e-PAN beta version in the displayed search results.

6. Recheck all your provided details and click submit for the OTP process.

7. Click on Generate OTP after which an OTP will be given on your registered mobile number and email id.

8. Enter OTP on the required box and click to start the verification process.

9. After the verification process is finished, click on “Download PDF” The downloaded PDF format of e-PAN card is protected with password. And the password is your date of birth. Enter your date of birth to use your e-PAN card.

1. Forms should be filled only in BLET LETTERS and Black Ink.

2. After submitting one word on each box, the applicant must leave a blank box.

It is mandatory to be filled by the applicant with an asterisk (*).

3. The size of the photograph (3.5 cm * 2.5 cm) should be affixed in the box provided on the form.

4. Photographs in the form should not be stapled or clipped.

5. Applicant has to fill AO code, AO type, AO number.

6. The signature or left thumb impression should be placed on the pasted photo in such a way that the signature or thumb impression is on the photo as well as the form.

7. Signature or thumb impression has to be given within the box on the left side of the form. The signature should not be on the photograph pasted on the right side of the form. If such a case occurs, the application will not be accepted.

8. In case of thumb impression, it should be verified by the Gazetted Officer or Magistrate under official seal and seal.

9. It is mandatory to give the details of representative assessee to be filled in column 14 of the application form.
