A new latest scheme has been launched by Gujarat state government for Kisano this scheme name is Suryashakti Kisan Scheme. Under this scheme, a farmer can generate electricity in his own farm through gir which will help in irrigation and he can sell the surplus electricity to the government to earn double the income.

A latest Suryashakti Kisan scheme has been launched by Gujarat state government for the farmers residing in the state. By availing the benefit of this scheme, the farmer can get the electricity required to get water from the bore in his field. For that, they can generate electricity by installing solar panels and if the excess electricity increases, they can sell it to the Gujarat government through grade and create a new source of income for themselves.

What percentage of subsidy will be given under this scheme?
Under the Suryashakti Kisan Yojana, the farmers of the state of Gujarat will be given a subsidy of 60% of the total cost of the solar panel project by the government and the remaining 30% of the cost will be given to the farmers through loans. The interest rate of this scheme is 4.5% to 6% and the remaining 5% of the project cost has to be paid by the farmers.
